Microaire Warranty News

Effective October 1, 2022, MicroAire will no longer provide warranty replacement of Electric Handpiece Cables for any reason, other than defects in materials or workmanship.

Such warranty information is clearly stated in the included Instructions for Use (IFU), provided with cables when they are shipped to the customer from Surgical Supplies Australia and MicroAire.

Upon receipt of Electric Handpiece Cables, they will be evaluated thoroughly by means of our acceptance test procedures. Warranty coverage will be determined by the findings from our evaluation.

Examples of conditions NOT COVERED include (but are not limited to)- Corroded Contacts or Pins, Bent or Broken Pins, Structural Damage to Connections or Cords, Cuts, Kinks, Water Intrusion, Shorts (associated with fluid in connections), Detached Cable Boots, or any other condition that is not specifically associated with defects in materials or workmanship as specified by the manufacturer.
