Due to the stressful nature of surgical use, decontamination, and sterilisation, MicroAire recommends that the PAL System (PAL 650 Handpiece, 5006 PAL Cable and 5020 Console) be returned to the factory for routine inspection and service at least once every 12 months.
The system needs to be returned to Surgical Supplies Australia, 9/82 Hutchinson Street, Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220 when you are ready for it to be sent on to the MicroAire Repair Centre in the United States for annual preventative maintenance.
Currently, there is a flat fee charge of $550 + GST maintenance service. In addition, all shipping and clearance costs to and from the authorised MicroAire Repair Centre in the United States will also be charged.
The MicroAire Repair Centre will complete an assessment of the equipment and provide us with a quotation for the repair/replacement parts if applicable. No repairs will be carried out prior to customer approval. All repairs have a 3-month warranty.
Repairs or alterations to MicroAire products made by anyone other than MicroAire or an Authorised MicroAire Repair Facility will void that product’s warranty.
